Here is the sneak peek photo of the tutorial I made in this month's tutorial bundle using the fabulous new "At Home With You" bundle.

The "At Home With You" bundle, is such a great set with many sentiments that can be used all year round for every season. The outlined images is perfect for colouring in too and adds so much more creative techniques.

Today's card is using the same technique as used in the tutorial but in a different style. I have chosen to do a Fall/Thanksgiving theme card using the grateful sentiment and the pumpkin and sunflowers from the set. This set just looks great in every season and the use of colour plays a big part in the creative expression of this set. I just love the Fall colours of yellow and orange and creates this warm sunset feel.

The new embossing paste is just fabulous and have used a new technique that I have learned from Case'ing Tanya Boser in a recent blog hop. You can check the card and blog post here.
Spritzing the embossing paste with ink colour is just fantastic technique and the results are just amazing!

Here, I have used Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight reinkers diluted with water using the spritzer. I have created an ombre gradient effect for a clean and simple yet effect layout. The more ink colour you add intensifies the tone and makes it darker. It is so much fun playing with it.

I have used Shimmery White cardstock as it can withstand water better than the regular Whisper White. Watercolour paper would also be great with this technique and can really add more intense colouring. Though less is more as adding too much water/ink can seep in between the stencils if left too long.

A bit of sprirtzing and ink smooshing was done on the door as I used every last drop of ink, by dabbing it on there lol. Heat setting with the heat tool helps to dry the ink quicker and allows you to build up the colour layers.

White heat embossed images have been done to all images and gives this card a lovely bright finished look. I also love using this technique with watercolouring as it's so forgiving. The images have been coloured loosely and it adds to the effect.  I have used both an aqua painter and brush to apply the ink colours. Smoky Slate used on the pale and Old Olive on the leaves, the rest is Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie. The Grateful sign against the black adds so much contrast and makes it stand out.

Inside of the door die cut panel, I have done an ink blending gradient with Pumpkin Pie ink to continue the ombre colour scheme. I have used the lovely sentiment that makes this set so charming with "I feel at home when I'm with you", stamped in Memento Tuxedo black ink and this helps to make it pop against all the bright colour. The card front is mounted on to a side folding portrait A2 card using Crumb Cake cardstock.

I hope you have enjoyed and found inspiration. The "At Home With You" bundle. is a set that I'll be reaching for to make unique homemade cards and will also be great to make this year's Christmas cards with using the Christmas imagery in the set - so stay tuned for that one.
