A Perfect Time To Craft Challenge #06 - 1st June

Hello and welcome to A Perfect Time To Craft Open Challenge #06 - 1st June. The theme is always "Anything Goes" and you can enter up to three projects to the gallery. I would love to see what you create. :)

Pattie's Creations is our proud sponsor for this month and I have chosen to use her adorable "Hot Air Balloon Ride" showing Allie images. You can find the image here. I couldn't resist the cute little cat and Allie on this hot air balloon and was a lot of fun colouring in especially in the rainbow colours. Copic Markers have been used to colour in the image.

I have teamed the image with Mama Elephant's Sunny Skies stamp set, with the sentiment and the white heat embossed rays for an ink resist blending with distress inks. You can just see the subtle water effects on the background for added texture. The sentiment has been stamped twice in both yellow and orange inks to create using an ombre effect gradient. It just highlight the Sunshine feel of the sentiment.

The cloud border is from Lawn Fawn's Puffy Cloud border dies and was the perfect addition to creating this scene. I love the faux stitching of the die set. They have been mounted on with foam dimensionals to create depth and gives a great framing finish.

For added shine and glimmer I have added Clear Wink of Stella on the hot air balloon and Pretty Pink Posh sparkling clear confetti. These confetti are great as there is no holes in the centre and are also translucent which adds a great finishing touch without overpowering the design.
